  • Location: Stalbridge
  • Hours: up to 37.5 hours per week
  • Pay: £12.71 per hour, increasing to £13.01 after passing probation and obtaining a care certificate
  • Contract Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and support to people in the setting, including personal care, meal preparation, administering medication, supporting out in the community and housekeeping
  • Build strong, positive relationships with people, promoting their independence and well-being
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure a safe, compassionate environment
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Record and report any changes in the people’s needs or conditions
  • Ensure confidentiality and safeguarding protocols are followed
  • Promote equal respect for all colleagues regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation
  • Comply with all Encompass policies and procedures
