Support Worker required to join our Team at Encompass Care. Do you have a genuine passion for helping others and making a difference in people’s lives? Our offer to you

  • Location: Dorchester
  • Hours: up to 37.5 hours per week
  • Pay: £12.71 and increasing to £13.01 after passing probation and obtaining a care certificate.
  • Contract type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and support to people in the setting. This may include but is not limited to personal care, meal preparation, administering medication, support out in the community and housekeeping.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with people, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure a safe, compassionate environment.
  • Effective communication both verbally and written.
  • Record and report any changes in the people’s needs or conditions.
  • Ensure confidentiality and safeguarding protocols are followed.
  • To treat all colleagues with equal respect regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation.
  • To be aware of and to comply with all Encompass policies and procedures.
