We are seeking an experienced and highly capable HSE Officer to play a key leadership role in driving health, safety and environmental excellence within our Glass Manufacturing operations. This is more than a coordination role - you will act as a trusted advisor to operational leadership, shaping HSE strategy at a functional level while ensuring robust day-to-day compliance. You will champion our Zero Harm to People and Environment vision, embedding a proactive safety culture and delivering measurable improvements in performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with plant leadership to embed HSE into operational and strategic decision-making
- Lead delivery of HSE plans aligned with business objectives and Zero Harm ambition
- Act as a visible HSE leader, driving a strong, values-led safety culture
- Ensure full compliance with HSE legislation, standards, and ISO 45001/14001 systems
- Lead audits, regulatory engagement, and ensure ongoing audit readiness
- Provide expert guidance, translating legal requirements into practical site controls
- Lead incident investigations, ensuring robust root cause analysis and lasting solutions
- Oversee risk management, safe systems of work, and high-risk activities
