Mechanical Fitter opportunity in Derrylin. Do you enjoy working on mechanical tasks? Do you have strong problem-solving skills and a strong eye for detail? This could be the role for you. We are recruiting for Fitters to support across the glass factory in Derrylin, Enniskillen, County Fermanagh. We have roles to support the Hot End Job Change Team and Warehandling equipment.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Undertake ad hoc tasks as per schedule from direct supervisor
  • Be a self-starter and work within a team environment when required
  • To maintain machine equipment
  • To prepare equipment for job changes
  • To carry out repairs on damaged equipment
  • To assemble machine parts
  • To assemble tools on machine
  • Ensure machine is correctly set-up
  • Ensure the work area is clean and tidy
  • To wear correct PPE on tasks
  • Ensure the health and safety regulations are followed
  • Ensure the correct procedures are followed for the task given

What we’re looking for:

  • Mechanical qualification or willingness to complete HNC in Operations Engineering for successful candidate (with full Encirc Support)
  • High level of mechanical skills required
  • Good team player
  • Highly motivated
  • Good initiative
  • Engineering background would be an advantage
  • Experience in a similar or mechanical role
