The predicted salary is between 65000 - 70000 £ per year.
As an Operations Engineering Manager, you will lead and coordinate the engineering department to ensure maximisation of uptime. You will be the process owner for engineering-based management processes, setting standards for all shifts to work against and work with Shift Managers to ensure consistent application. You will have a strategic eye for efficiency and continuous improvement, and the logical composure to orchestrate teams and trigger progressive change.
Responsibilities
- Performance management reporting of assets and engineers, identification and lead of improvement opportunities/requirements
- Budget management of R&M and labour
- Overall NCR ownership for site engineering
- Working with Academy to set training standards, assessments and MKUs
Key Requirements
- Degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
- Leadership and coaching skills - ability to identify and develop team members, set expectations, provide follow ups and make day-to-day decisions
- Ability to analyse root causes and implement decisions. Continuous improvement tools
