Reporting to the Maintenance Engineering Supervisor, you will serve as a key hands-on Maintenance Engineer in our high-speed beverages bottling operations. Your primary focus will be the overhaul, refurbishment, and ongoing maintenance of critical filling machinery components, including filling valves, lift cylinders, and capping heads, to ensure peak performance, hygiene compliance, and extended equipment life. You will also be responsible for completing and accurately recording all jobs, inspections, and maintenance activities via the Prisma CMMS system. This role demands a proactive, detail-oriented approach to mechanical overhauls in a fast-paced FMCG environment, where precision on components directly impacts line efficiency, product quality, and safety.
The Key Requirements
- Minimum of NVQ Level 3 in engineering
- Proven background in planned and proactive maintenance in a manufacturing environment (FMCG or high-speed production experience highly desirable)
- Methodical approach to fault-finding, repairs, and maintenance tasks
- Strong practical skills with a common-sense, hands-on attitude
- Lean & S5 manufacturing would be advantageous
