We’re on the lookout for a Shunter Driver to play a vital role in keeping our logistics operation running safely and efficiently. From moving trailers across our busy site to preparing loads for dispatch, you'll be at the heart of our operation, ensuring everything is in the right place at the right time. No two days are the same and your work will directly support the movement of millions of bottles every year.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Move trailers safely across our busy manufacturing site.
- Position trailers ready for loading and unloading.
- Prepare trailers by opening curtains, moving straps and ensuring they're ready for action.
- Secure loads to customer requirements so they're safe for transport.
- Carry out vehicle and trailer safety checks, reporting any defects.
- Complete trailer audits and support the Operations team.
- Keep the yard clean, safe and well organised.
- Champion health and safety in everything you do.
The Key Requirements:
- A valid Category C+E Driving Licence.
- Experience in a warehouse, logistics or dispatch environment (ideally within food, drinks or packaging).
- A safety-first mindset with excellent attention to detail.
- A flexible, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
- The ability to work well as part of a busy operations team.
