As a manufacturing Engineer at Encirc Beverages, you'll play a key role in maintaining and optimising high speed bottling lines, process equipment, and site utilities at our state-of-the-art beverage facility in Bristol. You'll focus on delivering planned maintenance, improving reliability and OEE, and driving continuous improvement.
Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will deliver high-quality planned maintenance and proactive equipment care. Using performance data, you will optimise machine performance, improve MTBF, reduce MTTR, and implement long-term engineering solutions that prevent repeat failures and drive reliability.
You'll work closely with both engineering and production teams to deliver asset care and maintenance, continually optimising equipment care routines and supporting proactive maintenance planning. A key part of the role is ensuring all activities are completed safely, efficiently, in full, and right-first-time, in line with Encirc Group standards.
Key Requirements- Engineering maintenance experience in a Food & Beverage (F&B) FMCG or similar manufacturing environment
- Time-served engineering apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, multi-skilled with a solid understanding of electrical systems
- HNC in an engineering discipline
- Strong fault-finding skills across electrical, mechanical, and process equipment
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals
- Experience using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Knowledge of PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems (desirable)
- Experience with continuous improvement tools such as Lean, Short Interval Control (SIC), 5 Why, RCA, or FMEA (desirable)
