As our next Technical Services Engineer, you will provide onsite and remote support as part of our Infrastructure team, addressing IT issues across various technology domains, including Office 365, networking, Windows desktop support, and backups.
Hours: Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm, Fri 8am-2.30pm - Due to the nature of this role you will be working on site 5 days a week.
The Key Requirements
- An understanding of and experience with support and implementation of parts of the following technology areas:
- VMware; management, and deployment of Virtual Machines.
- O365 Automated Patch management via WSUS and third-party tools.
- End user support i.e. Windows 10/ Windows 11, VPN, account administration etc.
- Network technologies i.e. TCP/IP, VPN, DHCP/DNS, Firewall etc.
- Windows Server technologies (Active Directory, Group Policies, Remote Desktop Services, etc.).
- Backup technology (Veeam).
- A methodical troubleshooting approach and strong attention to detail.
- Qualifications in Microsoft, Cisco, VMware & Veeam certifications (desirable but not required).
- An ability to work to tight deadlines and manage priorities.
- Up to date knowledge of technologies.
- Good problem solving and decision-making skills.
