Package Description: Permanent | £42,000- £44,000 | Elton

Hours: 4 on 4 off days and nights, 12-hour shifts, 39 hours

Are you highly organised, detail-oriented and passionate about keeping logistics operations running smoothly? We're looking for a proactive Logistics Operations Coordinator to play a vital role in managing the efficient flow of inbound and outbound goods while ensuring outstanding service to our customers. In this fast-paced position, you'll be at the heart of our operations, coordinating shipments, maintaining accurate system records, liaising with transport providers and customers, and ensuring every order reaches its destination on time and with the correct documentation.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Coordinate and manage inbound and outbound schedules to ensure smooth operational flow.
  • Accurately record all stock movements and transactions using company IT systems.
  • Investigate and resolve system errors, discrepancies, and non-conformances.
  • Ensure customer requirements are met through effective planning and operational support.
  • Prepare and verify all shipping documentation before dispatch.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and filing systems.
  • Communicate effectively with transport providers, sales teams, customers, and operational colleagues to minimise disruption.
  • Monitor collections and deliveries, proactively addressing any delays or issues.
  • Produce comprehensive shift handovers, highlighting key updates, potential challenges, and operational priorities.
  • Contribute ideas and solutions to improve efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
