Days – Mon -Thurs 08:00-17:00 Friday 08:00-14:30
As Production Specialist Engineer you\’ll be responsible for providing specialist engineering development, maintenance & troubleshooting support within Encirc Beverages\’ bottling plant, with a focus on improving PLC hardware & software equipment reliability, optimising performance, and delivering long-term technical solutions.
A key aspect of the role is the delivery of hands-on training to engineers, ensuring consistent standards, knowledge transfer, and the adoption of best practices across the team. Working collaboratively with both Engineering and Production functions, the role helps to build capability, reduce downtime, and ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with Encirc Group policies and compliance requirements
The Key Requirements
- HNC in Engineering
- A minimum of 5 years\’ experience working on Krones high speed filling lines
- Ability to work under extreme pressure if, for example, an entire production line is shut down, & a willingness to work unsociable hours when required
- Working within the Food and Drink sector
- Experience supervising & leading engineering teams driving continuous improvement
- Previous experience working with SAP including creating orders and searching for parts
- S7 PLC programming
- In depth fault finding
