The predicted salary is between 51371 - 51371 £ per year.
To develop, lead and manage a multi-disciplined team and have responsibility for a significant part of the operation. Areas of ownership covers, Dry Goods Inbound, all Yard container movements including the restitution process, Manufacturing EOL, Finished Goods Putaway, Environmental Services, VNA movements, Manufacturing administration, Inventory stock accuracies across multiple systems. Ensure the fleet of 20 AGV’s are utilised to achieve the targeted level of performance, adhering to strict KPI’s. We are seeking someone who can develop a team spirit that is consistent and supportive of the Company behaviours. To continuously challenge, innovate and improve the department performance through the implementation of a Lean culture and operational philosophy.
The Key Requirements
- Supervisor/Management qualification desirable
- Health and Safety qualification desirable
- Previous relevant management experience
- Understanding of Lean Processes
- Fully understand the philosophy of all control systems within manufacturing and retain and utilise this knowledge and skill
- Demonstrates health and safety understanding and compliance
- Relevant IT system knowledge
- Ability to obtain information and identify key subjects required to understand strategic issues
