Automated Warehouse Engineering Supervisor – Internal Candidates Only | Elton | Permanent | £60,000 – £63,000
As AW Engineering Supervisor you will have the ability to lead and motivate the team, finding solutions for challenging problems and oversee the shift activities as well as managing external contractors . You will be responsible for direct leadership and the coaching of Engineers, Automation controllers and apprentices .
The AW Engineering Supervisor also leads the technical team in providing both a reactive and proactive maintenance service on all operational equipment within the Automated Warehouse .
The Key Requirements
- HNC / HND Qualified is desirable. NVQ 3 engineering qualification is essential
- Multi-skilled in both electrical & mechanical disciplines with relevant experience in automation or complex MHE environments
- Experience in fault diagnosis & fault rectification of PLCs, Complex IO Systems, Industrial Control Systems, Industrial Fieldbus Networks (Profibus, Profinet), Laser Distance Sensors, Bar Code Readers, Inverter Drives, Encoders, Motors, Sensors, Limit Switches, Proximity Sensors & others
- Knowledge of PLC based controls systems (SIEMENS)
- Experience in an Automated Warehouse is desirable
