About The Role
As a Production Engineer, you'll play a critical role in maintaining seamless production by responding swiftly to breakdowns, reducing downtime, and ensuring reliability through planned maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond quickly to machinery breakdowns to minimise downtime
- Conduct planned maintenance to improve equipment reliability
- Support in commissioning new equipment and upgrading existing machinery
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in line with food safety requirements
- Hands-on involvement, suited to those who excel in dynamic, fast-paced settings
About You
This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong engineering background in industrial or manufacturing environments, preferably within food production.
Key Skills
- Strong Mechanical or Electrical skills
- Experience in food production is ideal but not essential
- Hands-on experience with minimum NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical engineering qualification
- Experience in a planned and reactive maintenance
Working Hours
Seven-day fortnight: Work 7 out of 14 days, with alternating weeks of day and night shifts
12-hour shifts (7am - 7pm)
