The Talent Manager will play a key role in expanding Encanta’s footprint in Digital First, Broadcast, Branding, and Entertainment by driving innovative strategies, managing talent relationships, and securing meaningful opportunities for our clients. This role combines creative vision with strategic thinking to deliver impactful career trajectories for talent while ensuring excellence in execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent & Client Management
- Strategically manage client careers with access to senior decision-makers across Digital First, and TV, digital media, publishing, live events, branding, and more.
- Ensure top-tier service, client retention, and career growth for represented talent.
- Identify, attract, and onboard new high-potential, revenue-generating talent.
- Develop and implement long-term career strategies based on shared vision and goals.
- Proactively pitch clients for opportunities and follow up on industry leads.
- Attend and support clients at TV recordings, photoshoots, red carpets, and events.
- Operational & Administrative Duties
- Manage diaries, travel logistics, contracts, invoicing, and other financial/admin tasks.
- Handle artist liaison, social media management, and content creation as needed.
- Maintain realistic client expectations while providing consistent calendar and communication management.
- Brand & Partnership Development
- Respond to incoming brand and media enquiries, including sharing rate cards and media kits.
- Lead high-level fee and contract negotiations (with team support).
- Determine brand alignment and partnership suitability before presenting to clients.
- Scope, negotiate, and manage deliverables for digital and brand partnerships.
- Ensure timely content delivery, reporting, and insights post-campaign.
- Identify and pursue new income streams (e.g. podcasts, product development, publishing).
- Relationship Building & Representation
- Build and maintain strong industry relationships with brands, broadcasters, agencies, PR firms, and digital platforms.
- Attend PR meetings and industry events independently and with the team to pitch the client roster.
- Represent the agency and talent with professionalism and strategic insight.
- Creative Strategy & Campaign Management
- Design compelling campaign concepts and partnership proposals aligned with brand KPIs and budgets.
- Create pitch decks and client presentations for internal and external use.
- Stay informed on industry trends and leverage insights to keep talent competitive and visible.
Skills & Experience
- Required Experience
- 3+ years of experience in Digital First, talent management, influencer marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record of attracting and managing top-level talent.
- Demonstrated success in securing commercial deals and long-term partnerships.
- Existing relationships with brands, agencies, and industry professionals.
- Essential Skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Confident in negotiation and relationship management.
- Strong understanding of influencer and digital campaigns.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Keynote.
