The predicted salary is between 12 - 16 £ per hour.

We have vacancies for Warehouse Operatives/HGV Strappers at a distribution centre based in Ellesmere Port. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and also be physically fit as this is a very demanding role.

Duties to Include:

  • Loading/unloading of cardboard and reels
  • Co-operate with management and team to ensure job is complete at end of the day
  • Work to timescale and deadlines
  • Ensure vehicle load is safe, secure and correctly positioned
  • Correctly check and accept load documentation and delivery paperwork
  • Correctly check in any returned goods and ensure paperwork is accurate
  • Maintain communication at all times with the Traffic Office
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness, using all equipment safely as specified in operating procedures
  • Operate vehicle safely, ensuring driver actions do not endanger self or other road users
  • Comply with safe working practices at all times

This is an Ongoing Role. Temp to perm.

Days/Hours: Monday to Friday / 7am to 3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm to 7am

Rate of Pay: From £12.56ph
