We are seeking on behalf of our Client a skilled and detail-oriented Powder Coater/Sprayer to join our dynamic team in the Deeside area. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of paint spraying processes and the ability to work with a range of materials and tools. This role is essential in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and finish.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for powder coating by cleaning, sanding, or masking as necessary.
- Operate powder coating equipment, ensuring proper application techniques are followed.
- Monitor the curing process to ensure optimal adhesion and finish quality.
- Conduct regular maintenance on powder coating machinery and equipment.
- Inspect finished products for defects or inconsistencies in colour and texture.
- Collaborate with team members to assemble and fabricate components as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area and adhere to all safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Basic maths skills for measuring and mixing powder coatings accurately.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the coating process.
- Experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Previous experience in painting or powder coating is preferred but not essential.
- Driving licence would be advantageous.
