Job description Multi-skilled Maintenance Fitter. Location: Flint Job Summary Reporting to the Production Manager, duties to include preventative maintenance on machines and equipment as well as responding to emergency machine break downs throughout the plant. Overhaul and repair of machines and equipment on site ensuring that they are safe, working efficiently and fit for purpose. Key Responsibilities: Preventative & reactive maintenance of all manufacturing machinery Overhaul, upkeep and repair of all mechanical & pneumatic machinery, fault finding, testing, removal and/or adjustments of existing fixtures & fittings Undertake repairs and servicing to the highest standard Produce & maintain jigs & fixtures to engineering drawings Ensuring good relations and communications with all members of the team and providing excellent customer care in an efficient manner. Reliability & dependability essential with adaptability to a fast paced environment. Time management and communication skills essential, ability to work on own incentive, log work and report any issues to Production Manager. Time served in repair and maintenance, knowledge of Pneumatics, Hydraulics.
