Our client based in Flintshire is a leading manufacturer of specialist surface preparation and finishing equipment, and are in the Market for a Field Service Engineer with the previous experience if either:- * Install Engineer , Machine Maintenance, Mechanical Service Engineer ect The role offers an interesting and varied role with the main duties including:- * Attending customer sites to install, commission, service and repair a range of specialist equipment. * Provide detailed and accurate reports on the condition of the customers\’ equipment, following onsite machine examinations. * To investigate / identify machine problems in an emergency breakdown situation – both mechanically and electrical. * Identify situations whilst on site, where productivity or efficiency improvements to equipment can be recommended to the customer. Essential Requirements * Full Driving License. * Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. * Good communication skills, both customer facing and with internal / external staff. * Flexible working approach, which will include some weekend and unsociable working hours along with some overnight stays. * Average working week 45 to 55 hrs, occasionally up to 70hrs, * Overseas work in Ireland required, our current team earn on average £45 to £60k p/a. * The hourly rate is based on experience and ranges from £13.00 to £15.50 per hour Skill Set – desirable * Mechanical engineering * Basic electrical knowledge * Fitting, welding, and basic fabrication on site (Renewal and repair). TRAINING COURSES PROVIDED/CERTIFICATES NEEDED * Confined Space— 1 day course * Mobile Access — 1 day course * Forklift GHR TITTB Novice – 3 day course * Welding —1 day course Package * Contracted hours are 40 hours, but average working week is 55 hours plus * 22 days holiday + bank holidays paid. * Out of hours working including out of hrs travel are paid at time and 1 /3 rd * Saturday working is paid at time and 1 /3 rd all day. (none working Sundays) * Expense = hotels, breakfast allowance, lunch allowance and evening meal allowance dependent on arrival home time, a standard for overnight. * Government backed Pension is provided. * Van for company use with fuel card. Must have All own tools ideally Training and Safety Equipment * all PPE are provided. * All certification courses for safe working are provided eg FLT/lPAF/Confined space
