We have WEEKEND vacancies for Warehouse Operatives/HGV Strappers at a distribution centre based in Ellesmere Port. Want to make an application? Make sure your CV is up to date, then read the following job specs carefully before applying.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role & also be physically fit as this is a very demanding role.
Duties to Include:
- Loading/unloading of cardboard and reels
- Cooperate with management and team to ensure the job is complete at the end of the day
- Work to the timescale and deadlines
- Ensure vehicle load is safe, secure and correctly positioned
- Correctly check and accept load documentation and delivery paperwork
- Correctly check in any returned goods and ensure paperwork is accurate
- Maintain constant communication with the Traffic Office
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and use all equipment safely, as specified in operating procedures
- Operate the vehicle safely, ensuring driver actions do not endanger the driver or other road users
- Comply with safe working practices at all times
This is an Ongoing Role Every SUNDAY
Days/Hours:
- SUNDAY * 6.30 am to 3.30 pm
- 3 pm-11 pm
- 10.30 pm to 6.30 am
Rate of Pay:
- From £18.84 ph Day Shifts
- £19.99 - Night Shift
