Reporting to the Site Manager, duties include preventative maintenance on machines and equipment both within our head office in Deeside as well as responding to emergency machine breakdowns on client sites. This can include overhaul and repair of machines and equipment on site ensuring that they are safe, working efficiently and fit for purpose.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support reliable preventative maintenance service for factories in the local area and within the main facility in Deeside, ensuring that their production lines run smoothly.
  • Preventative and reactive maintenance of all manufacturing and engineering machinery.
  • Overhaul, upkeep and repair of all mechanical and pneumatic machinery.
  • Fault finding, testing, removal and/or adjustments of existing fixtures and fittings.
  • Undertake repairs and servicing to the highest standard.
  • Produce and maintain jigs and fixtures to engineering drawings.
  • Ensure good relations and communications with all team members and provide excellent customer care in an efficient manner.
  • Reliability and dependability essential with adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
  • Time management and communication skills essential, ability to work on own initiative, log work and report any issues to the Production Manager.

Time served in repair and maintenance, knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and fabrication desirable. Experience and working knowledge of air tools, compressors, and electrical tools and equipment advantageous.

Starting on £18+ per hour to be reviewed after 3 months. Monday to Friday, Hours: 8am to 5pm.

Qualifications/Experience: Time served/min 2 years’ knowledge experience in a manufacturing environment.
