We are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias within the Deeside area. To work with one of our clients in a fast paced electrical/mechanical and manufacturing department, utilising a high level of technical knowledge in multiple disciplines of machine maintenance and breakdown in FMG manufacture. Reporting to the Maintenance manager and assisting routine daily tasks. Working with production on maintaining the plant to the highest of standards, ensuring the machinery performs and keeps up with production.
- Day to day operation of the site - Rectifying breakdowns and supporting maintenance tasks on shutdowns.
- Breakdown rectification and assisting in root cause analysis, developing and implementing Preventative maintenance strategies.
- Monitoring primary and secondary systems for safe control of primary plant, machinery, following warm up plans, managing safe systems of work including contractors and correct procedures for emergency situations.
- Administration, maintaining logs for running equipment, maintenance packages, health and safety, risk assessments.
- Driving continuous improvement within the maintenance and reliability team through carrying out root cause analysis and failure elimination cycle sessions.
17th edition or 18th edition would be good. Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm or 6am to 2pm. Pay £35-£40k depending on experience. Temp to perm role after 12 weeks worked. Please apply with your CV.
