Mechanical / Maintenance Fitter

The Role A Number of our clients are looking for experienced Shift Engineers with both a strong Electrical or Mechanical bias to join their Engineering team, based in North Wales.. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy hands-on fault finding, preventative maintenance, and driving equipment reliability within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, whilst also potentially going to other sites and repairing and installing equipment. On Offer: £18 - £23 per hour depending on experience Days and shifts available The Role To establish and maintain safe, compliant and effective engineering operations that continually develop the site’s asset base by following the Engineering strategy for proactive work whilst responding to breakdowns. Key Responsibilities Perform planned preventative and predictive maintenance across a range of mechanical equipment and complete breakdown repairs in a timely manner to minimise downtime Carry out mechanical fault finding, repair and continuous improvement activities across production and site machinery Support installation, commissioning and modification of mechanical systems and equipment Assessing the need for spares by ensuring that the critical spares and spares list is up to date and stock is at the required levels Escalate any...
