Based in Preston, we help over 1,000 people each month to confidently release cash from their homes, growing year on year to become one of the largest lifetime mortgage lenders in the UK.
We are looking for an experienced sales professional to join us in a Business Development role. You will be a hunter, more than a farmer, and a straight‑talking sales professional who can bring results quickly. The role is home based and will cover the Midlands and the South of the UK.

Typical day
Busy, busy, busy – 80% of your time will be making calls and responding to enquiries for potential cases from your panel of firms and advisers. The remaining 20% will involve attending meetings or events such as networking or industry expos, and booking additional meetings with your panel as needed. It’s very rewarding when you can explain our product proposition and the opportunities for advisers within the equity release market – you’ll see the “penny drop” when they realise the true potential of equity release for them and their business.
Requirements
- Understanding of the UK Equity Release/Mortgage industry
- Business‑to‑Business (B2B) sales experience
- Proven track record of delivering and exceeding sales targets
Nice to have
- Understanding of the later life market and intermediary distribution ideal
- Knowledge of the retirement market
- CeMAP or similar equivalent qualifications
