About the Role:

We’re hiring a Senior Manager to lead cost-take-out and sourcing optimisation programmes for our clients. You’ll own delivery, grow key accounts, and help build the firm—perfect for someone with entrepreneurial instinct who wants a fast track to Director/Partner.

About Us:

Enabling Procurement is a rapidly growing boutique procurement consultancy with offices in the UK, US and France. Top procurement and consulting talent is coming together at EP to deliver procurement excellence for clients.

Typical assignments for EP include working on behalf of the Boards or the private equity investors of the business to conduct opportunity assessment and deliver procurement transformation agenda across the business. We don’t just advise, we make it happen - This includes conducting detailed procurement diagnostics, spend analytics, negotiations, RFPs with the suppliers, and leading process improvement initiatives.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead client programmes end-to-end: diagnostics, category strategies, RFPs/e-sourcing, supplier negotiations, implementation and benefits tracking.
  • Drive hard savings across Direct categories (e.g., ingredients/commodities, packaging, co-manufacturing/co-packing, logistics) and Indirect categories
  • Be the face of the account: C-suite engagement, steering committees, issue/risk management, and clear exec storytelling.
  • Grow revenue: identify opportunities, shape proposals/SOWs, and convert follow-on work.
  • Coach a small, sharp team; set standards for analysis, commercial modelling, and supplier engagement.
  • Build the practice: playbooks, benchmarks, thought leadership, and IP/tools that scale delivery.

Must-have experience:

  • Extensive senior experience in procurement consulting, with a proven track record of leading multiple cost-take-out and procurement transformation engagements on behalf of well-known or specialist procurement consultancies.
  • Strong experience in independently leading and expanding multiple assignments with a range of clients. Track record of being seen as a trusted advisor for Client’s C-Suite
  • Hands-on delivery of sourcing optimisation across Direct and Indirect categories across different industries
  • Strong command of category management, strategic sourcing, RFP/e-sourcing, should-cost/BOM modelling, and supplier performance governance.
  • Comfortable running multi-country projects and managing senior client sponsors.
  • Excellent commercial writing (decks, business cases) and data fluency (Excel/Sheets; bonus: Power BI/Tableau)

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Consumer and Food sector is a big plus as we often undertake COGS optimisation assignments in that space with regular review across co-manufacturing/tolling, packaging and ingredients/commodities spend
  • Experience of working closely with Private Equity and Venture Capital Sponsors is a big plus

What we offer:

  • Fast progression in a growing boutique (clear line of sight to bigger P&L responsibility).
  • Global exposure with clients across Europe, the UK and the USA.
  • Competitive package with performance bonus; high autonomy, low bureaucracy, big impact.
