We’re looking for a Head of Operations – Equipment Service to lead a vital, fast‑paced service that helps residents live safely and independently at home. From mobility aids to medical equipment, you’ll oversee the delivery of essential services across multiple boroughs and sites. You’ll provide strategic and hands‑on leadership across our community equipment service, managing logistics, warehousing, procurement and customer service. Leading a large, multi‑site team, you’ll drive performance, continuous improvement and high‑quality service delivery.

This is a key senior role where you’ll:

  • Lead day‑to‑day operations across multiple locations
  • Ensure excellent customer service and regulatory compliance
  • Drive service improvement and transformation programmes
  • Manage contracts, suppliers and operational budgets
  • Develop and inspire a high‑performing management team.

Any offer of employment will be conditional on the receipt of satisfactory proof of your right to work in the UK, as required by the Home Office.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
