We are a small, recently launched team with high ambition and a strong focus on building high-quality, real-world software that solves meaningful problems.

We are looking for an experienced Web Accessibility Specialist / WCAG Expert to form part of our core team, shaping how we build our product and delivering professional accessibility services to our customers, including web accessibility testing, audits, training, and recommendations.

A core part of this role is producing clear, accurate, and defensible written guidance on WCAG and accessibility requirements for both internal teams and external customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the in-house expert on web accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.1 / 2.2 and emerging regulatory requirements (ADA, EAA).
  • Review how EnableAll currently meets accessibility standards, identify gaps, and recommend practical improvements to product features, behaviours, and roadmap priorities.
  • Define accessibility acceptance criteria and support QA and Engineering to ensure accessibility is embedded throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Support accessibility testing across the platform, including reviewing results from automated and manual testing and advising on appropriate fixes or workarounds.
  • Regularly review EnableAll on live customer websites to identify accessibility, usability, or compatibility issues arising from custom themes or implementations.
  • Deliver EnableAll's professional services offering directly to customers, including: Accessibility audits and reviews, Accessibility testing and remediation guidance, Accessibility training and education, Preparation and contribution to accessibility documentation such as VPATs, Support for customers navigating accessibility complaints or litigation-related queries.
  • Provide clear remediation guidance for identified accessibility issues, including prioritisation and practical recommendations for implementation across product and customer websites.
  • Work directly with customers to explain accessibility findings, prioritise remediation, and provide clear, actionable guidance.
  • Write tailored, business-appropriate responses to customer accessibility questions, including supporting responses to accessibility demand letters or compliance challenges related to their websites.
  • Translate WCAG and accessibility standards into clear, well-structured written guidance, including internal documentation, customer-facing recommendations, and implementation notes.
  • Support marketing team with creating documentation and video content that explains and promotes awareness of accessibility standards.
  • Contribute to client-facing reports, documentation, and educational materials explaining accessibility status, risks, and recommendations.
  • Provide feedback to Product on accessibility-led feature improvements and longer-term platform direction.
  • Stay up to date with changes in accessibility standards, legislation, and best practices, and help the organisation adapt accordingly.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, QA, Customer Success, and GTM teams to support real customer needs.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience working with web accessibility in a product, consultancy, audit, or accessibility-focused role.
  • Strong, practical understanding of WCAG guidelines and how they apply to real websites and applications.
  • Experience conducting or contributing to accessibility reviews, audits, or product accessibility improvements.
  • Ability to translate technical accessibility requirements into practical, business-friendly recommendations.
  • Familiarity with accessibility testing tools and methodologies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort working in a small, fast-moving team where priorities evolve.
Nice To Haves
  • Prior experience as a software developer.
  • Experience working within a SaaS or ecommerce environment.
  • Familiarity with Shopify or other ecommerce platforms.
  • Experience collaborating directly with engineers, designers, or product managers.
  • Background in UX, frontend development, QA, or digital accessibility consulting.
  • Exposure to accessibility policy-setting, accessibility statements, or compliance documentation.
