About EnableAll: We are on a mission to make the web more accessible to people with disabilities and neurodiversities. Our AI-powered platform helps eCommerce businesses comply with global accessibility standards (ADA, EAA, WCAG), increase conversions, and build more inclusive brands. We have launched on the Shopify App Store and are building a modern, scalable SaaS platform, with plans to expand across other ecommerce and CMS ecosystems. We are a small, recently launched team with high ambition and a strong focus on building high-quality, real-world software that solves meaningful problems.
The Role:
- Type: Full-time
- Department / Function: IT / Technology / Quality Assurance
- Experience Level: Mid–Senior
- Reports to: CTO
- Location: London-based (with hybrid-flexibility)
- Office: EnableAll, Mainframe, 24 Eversholt Street, London, NW1 1DB
- Salary: £40,000 – £60,000 (dependent on experience)
- Sector: B2B SaaS, ecommerce tech, accessibility inclusive technology
We are looking for an experienced, hands-on QA Engineer with a strong automation mindset to help ensure our platform is reliable and genuinely usable for all users, while ensuring robust and high performance on our clients' sites. This role is embedded within our engineering team and works closely with developers, product, and design to build quality and accessibility into the product from the start, not bolt it on at the end. While deep accessibility expertise isn't required from day one, prior exposure is strongly preferred, and we actively support learning and development in accessibility testing as part of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, write, and maintain automated test suites for our web-based SaaS platform (e.g. Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar)
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and UI testing across browsers, devices, and environments
- Identify, document, and help troubleshoot issues early in the development lifecycle, working closely with engineers to resolve them
- Regularly test EnableAll on live customer websites to ensure correct behaviour and identify accessibility or compatibility issues arising from customised themes or implementations
- Perform accessibility testing using a combination of automated tools and manual techniques
- Use tools such as Axe, Lighthouse, WAVE, or similar to identify and validate accessibility issues
- Validate accessibility behaviours including keyboard navigation, focus management, and screen reader interactions
- Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and product managers to ensure quality and accessibility are built into features from the start
- Support targeted manual testing for complex, edge-case, or customer-specific scenarios
- Produce clear, client-facing reports explaining accessibility status, issues identified, and testing outcomes
- Write clear, actionable Jira tickets and collaborate with engineering teams through resolution
- Provide feedback on product UI and UX, highlighting opportunities to improve usability and accessibility
- Continuously improve QA processes, tooling, and documentation as the platform scales
- Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Customer Success, and GTM teams to support real customer needs
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in software QA, including automated testing of modern web applications
- Hands-on experience with test frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Jest, or similar
- Experience with accessibility testing or WCAG is a strong plus, but not required
- Motivated to deepen accessibility knowledge and build inclusive products as part of their work
- Experience testing web-based products across browsers and devices
- Exposure to accessibility testing concepts and standards (e.g. WCAG, keyboard navigation, screen readers)
- Strong debugging, communication, and documentation skills
- Familiarity with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines
- Comfort working in a small, fast-moving team with evolving requirements
Additional nice to haves:
- Experience conducting accessibility audits or contributing to accessible frontends
- Background in frontend or full-stack development
- Experience working in early-stage or scale-up SaaS environments
- Familiarity with ecommerce platforms or Shopify-based products
Benefits:
- Competitive salary, dependent on experience
- Competitive pension scheme
- Private medical insurance
- Flexible working arrangements within a hybrid setup
- Opportunity to work on a mission-driven product with real-world impact
- A small, collaborative team where accessibility and quality genuinely matter
