Are you ready to make a real difference in someone’s life? We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Support Worker to join our Wiltshire Service based in Semington Trowbridge, helping to oversee and deliver high‑quality support. You will report into the Registered Manager, splitting your time between hands‑on support and leadership/administrative tasks to ensure our service runs smoothly. This is a varied and rewarding role with plenty of opportunity to make an impact.

About the people you’ll be supporting: You’ll be supporting three female clients with learning disabilities and/or autism. Each person has unique needs, preferences and routines. Some enjoy active community days out, others prefer quieter home‑based activities. Your role is to help them live safe, happy and meaningful lives, while ensuring their care is consistent, person‑centred and of the highest quality.

Working details: Semington Trowbridge. This is a full‑time role where your week is split between providing direct support on shift and completing leadership and administrative tasks.

Required qualifications and experience:

  • A minimum of 12 months on your right to work
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Level 2 in Health and Social Care and willingness to progress to Level 3

  • Encouraging – encourage people to play active roles in their communities and independence
  • Supporting – Activities of daily living including social activities, personal care, routines, meal planning and budgeting
  • Communicating – effectively communicate using people’s chosen methods
  • Engaging – promote and motivate people to enhance their quality of life
  • Specialising – support people who may need positive behavioural support approaches
  • Recording – keep accurate records & report changes in health or circumstances to management
  • Team player – work as part of a team and use own initiative
