Make a meaningful difference in the lives of young individuals and deliver positive person‑centred outcomes for people with complex support needs. You will work with individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health issues and other complex needs, supporting them to maintain routines, promote independence and enjoy their hobbies.
Responsibilities
- Encourage people to play active roles and promote independence in their communities.
- Support activities of daily living, including social activities, personal care, routines, meal planning and budgeting.
- Communicate effectively using the chosen methods of the people you support.
- Engage and motivate supported individuals to enhance their quality of life.
- Provide positive behavioural support where required.
- Keep accurate records and report changes in health or circumstances to management.
- Work as a team player and also demonstrate initiative when working independently.
Shifts and Working Hours
- Various shifts available, including sleep shifts paid at £60 per night (10 pm‑7 am).
- Flexibility to cover a mixture of day shifts, evenings and weekends is required.
- Minimum of 12 months legal right to work.
