About The Role
Greenock Sessional £13.45 per hour
Are you interested in working for an award winning social care charity? Personal Assistants (Support Workers) have the most important role within Enable, making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support. Each person we support has different support requirements, so your role as Support Worker may include assisting them with various aspects of personal care, moving and handling or positive behavioural support while expanding their social networks and connections.
As a Personal Assistant, you will provide direct support to a person requiring assistance to achieve their goals and outcomes, which may involve a 24‑hour or shift-based schedule. The role may involve working with an individual like Logan, who requires support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including overnight support. The support includes personal care, medication and meal assistance, and routine activities such as getting ready for the day and engaging in their interests. You will help maintain routine, support safe mobility, and provide positive behavioural support.
Enable creates a bespoke team around every individual we support, and our team of Personal Assistants work collaboratively to ensure the safety, wellbeing and aspirations of the people we support are met.
