Overview

Personal Assistant (Support Worker) – Aberdeen. Part Time Permanent position requiring 18 hours per week (two 9‑hour shifts of 08:00‑17:00, including weekends).

Responsibilities

  • Support an individual with learning disability and additional needs, assisting with personal care, mobility, and positive behavioural support.
  • Help build and expand the individual’s social networks and connections.
  • Work collaboratively with other Personal Assistants to ensure the safety, wellbeing and aspirations of the support recipient are met.

Working Hours

18 hours per week: two 9‑hour shifts (08:00‑17:00) each week, with weekend coverage as required.

Salary

£13.45 per hour.

Eligibility

  • Female only – this role is for female support workers.
  • Driving licence essential.

Qualifications & Experience

No prior care experience is required; applicants are recruited based on values and transferable skills. Successful candidates must undertake the necessary training and comply with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) registration process.
