Personal Assistants (Support Workers) have the most important role withinEnableby making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support. No two days are the same for our Personal Assistants but what we can guarantee is that you will be supporting someone with a learning disability to achieve their goals and outcomes - whatever they may be!

Each person we support has different support needs, so your role as Support Worker may include assisting them with various aspects of personal care, moving and handling or positive behavioural support whilst expanding their social networks and connections.

Enable creates a bespoke team around every individual we support, and our team of Personal Assistants work collaboratively to ensure the safety, wellbeing and aspirations of the people we support are met.

Sally is an independent woman who lives in the Paisley area. Sally enjoys chatting and has a great sense of humour. Sally is registered blind so requires support with certain aspects of her personal care, medication and maintaining her home. Sally enjoys company but can also require alone time to read her books and complete tasks on her computer.

Sally has no mobility issues but requires social support in the community. Sally enjoys visiting the local pub for lunch and is well known.

Sally has support 7 days per week, in the morning and evening. Sally can become anxious so it is important that her personal assistant is reliable and consistent.
