Responsibilities
- Support Maureen with daily personal care, moving and handling, and positive behavioural support.
- Assist with maintaining Maureen’s social networks and community participation, such as attending knitting or dancing group, shops, walks, and other activities.
- Provide support 7 days a week, from 09:00 to 17:00 and overnight with staff sleeping over.
- Ensure safety, wellbeing and aspirations of the individual are met.
- Work collaboratively with the broader team of Personal Assistants.
Qualifications & Experience
- No prior care experience is required.
- Applicants should have the values, dedication and desire to support individuals with learning disabilities and other support needs.
- Transferable skills from previous employment or volunteering are valued.
- Required to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 3 months of start date.
