Heidi is looking to transition from her current living setup into her new home and she is looking for Personal Assistants (Support Workers) to support her to make this transition successful. We are looking for a bespoke team so that Heidi receives person-centred support with the right personal assistants that share similar interests and outlooks on life.

Heidi is looking for outgoing personal assistants that can support her everyday hobbies. She loves to watch TV shows and playing games that are mathematically based! Heidi has an excellent memory and loves dates, time and anything numbers. Heidi enjoys spending time watching her favourite shows such as Countdown and other quiz shows. She enjoys going out to local cafes, historical sites and attending local events. Heidi is looking to build her social skills and gain confidence in social settings within the community. She also enjoys sensory experiences and visiting the local library.

Heidi's support is based in Kirkwall and is within walking distance of all amenities. Heidi's support is delivered as part of a team, so personal assistants will work as part of a close team of support workers to provide support.

Enable offers a variety of different shift patterns across 13 services, specifically Heidi's shift times are as follows:

  • 9am-3pm
  • 9am-9pm
  • 9pm-overnight support shift

Enable is happy to offer a flexible approach to contracted hours, shift patterns and shift times that can work around childcare and other commitments. Enable offers a bespoke induction and shadowing process for each of the people we support.
