Part or full time contracts. Drivers essential unless you live in Caol or Kinlochleven and can walk to each service. £13.45 per hour. Shift pattern: 7am starts – 2pm or 3pm – 9pm.

About the role: Personal Assistants are crucial in supporting people with support needs. Their work varies each day and includes personal care, meal preparation, medication administration, moving and handling, and positive behavioural support, while expanding social networks and connections. Each person has varying needs; you may support someone requiring moving and handling and full training will be provided. This is a varied role requiring flexibility.

  • Provide personal care support to people with diverse needs.
  • Assist with meal preparation and medication administration.
  • Support mobility and moving and handling tasks.
  • Deliver positive behavioural support and expand social networks.
  • Work flexible shift patterns (7am-2pm or 3pm-9pm).

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Commitment to support individuals and help them achieve outcomes.
  • Ability to adapt communication style to build supportive relationships.
  • Positive and flexible outlook, capable of working independently or with a team.
  • Transferable skills and values; no prior care experience required.
  • Will register with the Scottish Social Services Council within 3 months of start date.
