Senior Support Worker – Supported Living
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Support Worker to work within our supported living service in Oadby, Leicestershire. The role involves supporting three individuals with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs to live as independently as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Support people to live independently in their own home, promoting choice, control, and inclusion.
- Provide person-centred support tailored to each individual’s goals and preferences.
- Deliver daily living skills, communication, emotional regulation, and decision‑making support.
- Apply positive behaviour support techniques where appropriate.
- Work closely with families, carers and external professionals to coordinate holistic care.
- Maintain accurate records and report changes to management.
- Provide shift‑based support and perform leadership/administrative duties, guiding and mentoring staff.
- Help ensure the service operates safely and in line with best practice and regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 12 months’ experience or a right to work in the UK.
- A full UK Driver’s licence.
- Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care (willingness to work toward Level 3).
