Overview

Ready to lead, inspire, and make a difference every day? We are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Manager/ Lead Nurse to drive the clinical, operational, and quality aspects of a 24-hour specialist nurse-led residential service in Nottingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high standards of nursing and care delivery, regulatory compliance, staff leadership, and continuous service improvement. Responsibilities

  • Delivering outstanding nursing care and support – Ensuring individuals receive personalised support that promotes independence, dignity, and inclusion, with care plans that reflect their evolving needs.
  • Driving quality and compliance – Overseeing CQC registration and ensuring the service meets regulatory requirements, maintaining safe, effective, and well-led services.
  • Leading and developing teams – Managing the team and recruitment, training, and ongoing performance development.
  • Ensuring accountability – Managing safeguarding, incidents, and complaints, while working closely with the Regional Operations Director to drive continuous improvement and maintain compliance.

What we’re looking for

  • Nurse registration is essential, along with active NMC pin.
  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Lead Nurse is highly desirable.
  • Strong experience within a residential care service, particularly in the physical disabilities, complex health and/or learning disabilities sector.
  • Sound knowledge of the adult social care sector and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven leadership and management experience.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making skills.
  • A flexible approach to working hours to meet the needs of the service.
