Overview
Personal Assistants (Support Workers) are essential to Enable’s mission to help people with learning disabilities and physical disabilities achieve their goals.
The TWECHAR Project is based in the village of Twechar and provides a short‑break respite service for up to five adults.
Workers support individuals in personal care, moving and handling, positive behavioural support, and expanding social networks.
Shift Pattern and Pay
Day shift, late shift, 12‑hour shifts, overnight support and night shift. Pay rate: £13.45 per hour.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Assist with personal care and daily activities to enable individuals to meet their outcomes.
- Implement personal support plans and celebrate achievements.
- Use a flexible, positive approach and work independently or as part of a team.
- Adapt communication style to build strong relationships with service users.
- Support individuals in decision making, social activities and independence.
