Job Summary: To provide high quality software implementation consultancy to Enable customers. The consultant acts as the conduit between the customer and technical teams, providing guidance that ensures the technical capabilities of our software customisations match agreed requirements. The jobholder will also provide requirements analysis, solution and configuration design, customisation solution design, implementation, training, integration, testing and production support to customers either on-site or remotely.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Able to define the requirements of the customer and play them back to the customer to agree them.
- Able to learn, articulate, configure and design a solution for the requirements of customers.
- Takes task ownership for ensuring the customer’s requirements, issues are solved regardless of functional or technical in nature.
- Develops and maintains strong, productive relationships with customers, partners and internal teams.
- Run customer workshops to enable the implementation of the solution.
- Train project team and end users on business solution.
- Produce detailed requirements, design, configuration, test and cutover documentation agreed with the customer.
- Acts as a conduit between the Customer and Enable teams seeking resolutions in both implementations and support.
- Works on multiple projects including implementations and support.
- Maintains a working knowledge of functional and technical competencies, implementation and support methodologies.
- Provides solution design and triage support to customers.
- Asks questions and is curious about why customers choose Enable, and why Enable solutions exist.
- Relates requirements from the Customer to the development team members.
- Quality assures the technical capabilities of software customisations meets agreed Customer requirements.
- Creates Business Requirements Documentation scoping requirements to be met.
- Creates Solution Design, Configuration and Functional Design Documents for standard Flintfox solutions and its customization.
- Contributes to the successful implementation and triage of proposed solution designs.
- Drives for closure of all functional and technical troubleshooting for both support and implementation customers.
- Supports the delivery of the resolution of project and support issues to be as planned.
- Write test scripts based on requirements and carries out testing.
- Effectively communicates and works with other team members to achieve organization objectives.
- Undertake additional tasks, responsibilities, and ad-hoc projects as and when requested.
- Ensure all billable work is billed effectively.
- Maximizes opportunities for billable work.
- Ensure timesheets are recorded daily and submitted weekly.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
- At least 2 years’ experience in ERP implementations either within the implementing organization or implementation partner.
- Business Analysis ability to capture business requirements, document them and agree them with the customer.
- Develop and agree Acceptance Criteria for Solution Designs with Customer.
- Configuration certification in setting up ERP solutions to meet business requirements.
- Triage and troubleshoot both implemented designs, and new solution designs quickly and accurately.
- Demonstrates working knowledge of the Order to Cash or Procure to Pay processes.
- Intermediate understanding of Trade Spend terminology, types of trade spend and business reasons for tracking it.
- Intermediate understanding of the sales/purchase order terminology and how price/discounts are generated.
- Able to demonstrate understanding of a Profit and Loss Statement.
- Basic to intermediate understanding of accounting journal entries, T-accounts, accrual and settlements.
- Good communication and presentational skills.
- Ability to be clear and concise when presenting ideas and solutions.
- Experience in creating implementation documents such as Business Requirements Document, Functional Design Documents, Configuration Documents, Test Scripts.
- Experienced at writing test scripts and testing solutions to meet defined business requirements.
Required Experience:
- Relevant post-secondary qualification in business administration, Information Technology Systems, ERP Certification.
- At least 2 years’ experience in ERP implementations either within the implementing organization or implementation partner.
- Experience in defining requirements and creating solution design.
- Experience in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain or Manufacturing with an understanding of related business processes.
- ERP Functional Certifications.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Pricing experience.
