Role Overview: Personal Assistant for Claire, Billy, George, Harry and James. 30 hours per week with overnight support shifts. Work in a small supported living house in Dunoon.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support to each individual, assisting with daily living tasks such as housework and personal hygiene.
- Support through the night, including attending appointments and handling any health or safety needs.
- Use person‑centred approaches, positive behaviour support, moving and handling techniques, and maintain the safety, wellbeing and aspirations of the clients.
- Collaborate with the team of Personal Assistants to ensure continuity of care and support.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Values of caring, reliability, commitment and dedication to supporting people with learning disabilities and other support needs.
- No prior care experience required; recruitment is based on values and transferable skills.
- Capability to work independently and on a rota basis, with a willingness to develop new skills.
- Motivation to support individuals to achieve their goals and outcomes.
