We are supporting a fast-growing, award-winning engineering business in the electrical switchgear and energy reduction space who are expanding their field engineering team. They are looking for a Gold Card Electrician to support service, maintenance, installs and surveys across the South of England - with a core focus patch covering: London -> Cambridge -> Gloucester -> Bath (and surrounding areas).
This is a field-first role with real ownership, variety and autonomy.
The Opportunity
- Remote
- Core travel zone: London, Home Counties, East Anglia, Thames Valley, South West corridor
- Occasional travel wider UK when required
- Mix of service, maintenance, install and survey work
- Supporting major commercial and industrial customers
Package

The Role
- Service and maintenance of electrical plant and apparatus
- Electrical installation and commissioning
- Pre-installation site surveys
- Fault finding, repair and part replacement
- Producing survey, service and install reports
- Customer liaison and site coordination
- Travel is part of the role. Typically 6-8 nights away per month, although this is expected to reduce due to the South-focused territory.
What We’re Looking For
- ECS Gold Card Electrician
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical (or equivalent)
- 5+ years in electrical service, install or maintenance roles
- Able to read wiring diagrams and single line drawings
- Comfortable working independently in field environments
- Strong attention to detail and customer communication
