Personal Assistants (Support Workers) have the most important role within Enable by making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support. Each person we support has different support requirements, so your support worker role may include:
- Assisting with various aspects of personal care
- Moving and handling
- Positive behavioural support
- Expanding social networks and connections

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of De Paul House service. Located in Govan, De Paul House is a residential support service for young adults transitioning into independent living. Situated in 3 linked properties, each of the 9 flats have access to the communal garden and amenities. It is a supportive environment where our residents work towards gaining the necessary skills to secure and maintain a tenancy of their own.
To achieve this, I would like someone to support me by helping me to access resources like mental, physical and sexual health services, create budget plans and weekly shopping lists, help me keep my flat tidy and laundry up to date, access addiction services, offer me weekly flat checks and monthly key sessions and support me to recognise my own potential and self-worth through self-esteem building achievements.
