No two days are the same for our Personal Assistants but what we can guarantee is that you will be supporting someone with a learning disability to achieve their goals and outcomes – whatever they may be!

Each person we support has different support needs, so your role as Support Worker may include assisting them with various aspects of personal care, moving and handling or positive behavioural support whilst expanding their social networks and connections. Enable creates a bespoke team around every individual we support, and our team of Personal Assistants work collaboratively to ensure the safety, wellbeing and aspirations of the people we support are met.

During support we assist with cooking, cleaning and supporting Maureen to her activities.
  • Megan is a very independent lady and has a good sense of humour. Megan volunteers in a charity shop and enjoys going to tribute nights when they are on especially Elvis! We support Megan 7 days a week and shifts can range from 10am-3pm, 9am-11am and split days when she attends her volunteering as she does this independently. We support Megan with personal care, meal prep and cleaning.
