Personal Assistants (Support Workers) have the most important role within Enable by making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support. No two days are the same for our Personal Assistants but what we can guarantee is that you will be supporting someone who requires support to achieve their goals and outcomes – whatever they may be!
Each person we support has different support requirements, so your role as Support Worker may include assisting them with various aspects of personal care, moving and handling or positive behavioural support whilst expanding their social networks and connections. Enable creates a bespoke team around every individual we support, and our team of Personal Assistants work collaboratively to ensure the safety, wellbeing and aspirations of the people we support are met.

Let us introduce you to Matthew. He loves being outdoors, going out on his push scooter (in all weather) and just being as generally active as possible. A typical day could be going to the shops to ensure Matthew has all the essentials he needs, going to local parks and harbours. In his downtime, Matthew enjoys watching movies, listening to music and the radio. Matthew receives support 7 days a week usually between the hours of 8am and 8pm. Sadly, it’s not always possible for Matthew to enjoy what many people would consider these ‘simple pleasures’ without proper, dedicated support. That is why Matthew needs you! Will you bring your best so that Matthew can live his best life?
