Enable creates a bespoke team around every individual we support, and our team of Personal Assistants work collaboratively to ensure the safety, wellbeing and aspirations of the people we support are met.

The Best in You Brings Out the Best in Me

The people we support have many varied interests and hobbies and have many of the same dreams and aspirations as we do; they just too often do not get the opportunity to experience these same opportunities. A career with Enable is as rewarding as it is diverse, Personal Assistants at their best have the potential to truly bring out the best in the people we support.

Let us introduce you to Lauren:

Lauren is a woman in her late 20's. She likes to look good and is very keen on maintaining her own appearance so pampering, hairdressing and nail care are a big part of her life. She also has a fondness for lunches out, coffees, cocktails and listening to music! Keeping fit is important so exercise, especially walking are key. Lauren loves a walk, it's her favourite way to get around, especially for a fun activity such as a visit to the museum or to the shops. Lauren has a great sense of humour and is caring and bubbly- she is good at tuning in to the feelings of others. Lauren needs an active staff team that won’t shy from a good brisk walk, that can be upbeat and able to cook. Lauren needs staff who understand the importance of structure, routine, and communication aids to help her navigate her day. Lauren needs someone who can help her feel secure if situations become stressful whilst helping her promote her independence and expand her horizons.

Lauren's PA says: "Lauren is always up for a laugh and has a fantastic sense of humour. Spending the day with her is always interesting—I’ve learned a lot about planning holidays and puzzles, which she loves. Lauren also loves to get her hair and nails done—and will want you to match a lot of the time! It’s lovely working with her and getting to know her interests, and developing your own inside jokes as time goes on."

That is why Lauren needs you! Will you bring your best so that Lauren can live her best life?
