We have an opportunity for a Health and Safety Officer to join our Health and Safety team based in Eurocentral. The primary function of this role is to be the internal contact for all health and safety related matters. Supporting the Health and Safety Manager to develop and deliver a proactive health and safety service and providing competent technical and legal advice to all staff in a multi-site organisation.

The role will be responsible for developing and maintaining safety management systems, providing advice, guidance, assistance and support to all areas of the organisation in the delivery of:

  • Health and Safety Policy
  • Health and Safety procedures and Safe systems of work
  • Compliance with health and safety legislation
  • Conducting Audits, Investigations and Premises visits
  • Risk Assessment Training

The successful candidate will be an experienced Health and Safety Officer or equivalent with experience in a range of activities including audit, investigation and able to contribute to strategy and policy development. You will also hold a NEBOSH Diploma, relevant Degree or equivalent. A full drivers licence and access to your own car is essential as there is travel involved in this role.
