Community Connector - Travel required across Glasgow & Inverclyde

Salary - £21,681 per annum (£24,479 FTE)
Enable is a dynamic and vibrant organisation dedicated to improving the lives of people with learning disabilities and we are looking for a dynamic and motivated Community Connector to join us in ensuring they have the same opportunities as everyone else.
Sitting within our Communities team you would be responsible for delivering Enable Scotland’s Summer of Sport youth programme in Glasgow and Activate Inverclyde, delivering across Greenock, Port Glasgow and Gourock.
Delivering a programme that engages 8–18-year-olds and adults in activity to develop their access to their communities, including sport and cultural activity, as well as develop their confidence, peer network, independent travel skills, health & wellbeing and participation in building a positive life.
Responsibilities
Deliver the Summer of Sport youth programme and Activate Inverclyde programmes across the specified areas.
Qualifications
- Friendly, engaging, and person-centred in their approach.
- Confident working one-to-one and facilitating groups.
- Experience delivering group activities or community-based work.
- Genuine interest in inclusion, equality, and community development.
- Enjoys working outdoors and in local community settings.
- Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with a wide range of people.
