Ravenswood – Kirkintilloch Sessional £13.45 HOURLY RATE
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to individuals at Ravenswood, a residential interim support service for those at risk of or experiencing homelessness.
- Assist with personal care, moving and handling, and positive behavioural support.
- Support mental health, substance use, alcohol use, relationships, budgeting, anger management and other general life-skills.
- Help individuals plan and pursue their goals and outcomes, celebrating successes.
- Offer leisure activities and help build social networks and connections.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure safety, wellbeing and aspiration achievement.
- Provide tenancy sustainment support for up to seventeen individuals in a secure, comfortable environment.
Qualifications:
- No prior care experience is required; we recruit based on values and transferable skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to adapt your communication style to develop successful and enjoyable relationships with the people you support.
- Commit to working with individuals through personal support plans to achieve goals and outcomes.
