Cherrywood is a 9-bedded service in the Elderslie area of Paisley. We support individuals with profound needs and autism, living together in two bungalows. Training will be provided; experience is not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to individuals with profound needs and autism.
- Assist with moving and handling, positive behavioural support, and expanding social networks.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure safety, wellbeing, and aspiration of people.
- Follow individual support plans to help achieve goals and celebrate successes.
- Engage in activities such as sewing, baking, tea, horse riding, swimming, hill-walking, or other interests.
Qualifications
- Good listener with compassion.
- Ability to adapt communication style to support people with learning disabilities.
- Commitment to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive, flexible outlook towards work.
